Am I checking all that? How long does it take until I have the new stuff on? But I think that is human. You have to dig into new things first, and of course that also takes time.
Like most people, I started the workouts for the first time. I created the team, invited everyone to assign a few workouts to even see how it goes down, they do it. In the beginning, it was a fiasco for now. Here is something, do that. No one knew how to do it and you had to explain a lot. But after a week, everything was okay.
Then I kept looking, discovered the game and training planning with admissions and cancellations, the team lineups and so we tackled the many functions step by step.
“In the beginning, it was a fiasco. You tell your players, “You must use this now. Do that. '”
1. Debit queries
The absolute burner is the charge queries. That's the coolest thing about the app. You simply don't have time to talk to every player after every game or training session. With the app, I can simply send out a query after every training session or game, in which I query load, etc. My players always write a few lines about how they found themselves. That is phenomenal feedback. If the players have only given a 1, I know I need to talk to them.
2. Workout allocation
The second is the workouts. My players are absolutely overwhelmed with this and accept it very very well.
3rd team treasury
The team treasury is also a great thing. Although we still have a separate team fund, we use the B42 team fund more as a penalty fund. Then you can see who did what and how much goes in there, that's great.
First of all, I make a detailed load query after every game and training session on the same day. You should always wait a bit, as you usually don't get sore muscles until the next day, but the players forget that otherwise.
It's pretty quick. You just always have to filter out who was there and who wasn't, if you could tie that to the events that would be great. Otherwise, it takes 3 minutes until the query is out — topic resolved.
If the team's atmosphere is good, then I don't have to do anything. But then I can clearly see when a player is not doing well or is in pain. It says exactly where the pain is and I can then give her a suitable workout. For example for back pain.
“We are currently on a wave of success. Everyone subordinates themselves to the whole, everyone plays for the club. I'm betting a lot on us being able to start injury-free preparation with B42.”
That's about 600 workouts that the girls get from me per month. It's this great evaluation where I can see the workout categories I've made. We clearly focus on stability & strength, but also endurance or interval running.
We practice 3 times a week, usually a game on Saturday. On Sunday, those who played along do a 2 km run, those who were not there run 5 km or even an interval run. On Monday, there is usually a stabilizing or strength exercise and on the training days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there is a stabilizing or strength exercise before or after training.
Most players are always there half an hour earlier. Before they start making nonsense in the cabin, they should do a workout instead. And on Fridays when we don't have any training, there is usually a ball-specific workout as well. And that's the week.
Anyone who does not complete the assigned workouts should contact my assistant trainer and will then be reassigned. Gentle pressure is also sometimes necessary. With us, everyone who doesn't do the workout has to bake a cake.
Here are two weeks as an example of how I plan them in the B42 Coach Zone:
“My players do an average of 600 workouts a month together.”
I can outsource the entire athletic training and thus have more time in training.
Which trainer would like to stand on the pitch and make a stable, especially now that it is freezing cold? It is important and we need them, but please not in the field. And what's better than letting the boys and girls do it at home.
Because of the time saved during training, I can concentrate on team tactical training and train on the pitch with the ball at my foot.
Since I've been using you, I've bombarded you several times with feature ideas and wishes that I think make sense:D You've already implemented a lot of them and the Workout Builder was of course an absolute wish. Otherwise, I would like to have a chat function. I'd love to eliminate WhatsApp and do everything in one app. Then I wouldn't even have to get out of B42 anymore.
