ARE INJURIES PART OF SOCCER?

PREVENTION TRAINING

The term “injury prevention”, i.e. active protection against injuries, is also important for everyone - especially after such a long compulsory soccer break.

ARE INJURIES PART OF SOCCER?

It's down to business in soccer: racy air duels, straddles at waist level or do-or-die duels as the last man.

Injuries are necessarily inevitable. A look at the statistics books reveals the lower extremity in particular as an injury hotspot. Injuries to the knee joint (14%), ankle (14%) and thigh muscles (25%) often mean the end of the season for many soccer players.

While muscle injuries tend to have a very good prognosis in terms of playing ability, ligament injuries are often associated with a longer break from playing. Severe joint cartilage damage can often even be associated with the end of a career.

WITH EVERY DAMAGE, THE RISK OF SECONDARY INJURIES OFTEN INCREASES

It is now considered certain that with any damage to the ligamentous apparatus (this applies in particular to ankle injuries), the risk of subsequent injuries also increases.

This means that anyone who has had to suffer an injury is now more susceptible to it.

This often creates a vicious circle from which many soccer players cannot escape.

PREVENTION TRAINING AS EFFECTIVE PROTECTION AGAINST INJURIES

What is usually missing in this case is adequate control and control of the damaged joint. Incidentally, this does not primarily mean a clean monopod on a wobbly board. It is primarily about controlling movements in everyday and in-game situations.

In addition to strengthening and dynamism, our training approach is also about starting where movement occurs — in the central nervous system (CNS).

With targeted training exercises, movement sequences can be optimized and weak points that are invisible to the eye can be combated.

The best thing about prevention training:

You can do it alongside team training and games because the intensity is low compared to the GAMECHANGER.

FASTER, HIGHER, FURTHER:
IS SOCCER CHANGING — TO THE DETRIMENT OF ATHLETES?

Football has changed enormously in the last decade like hardly any other sport.

The days when “the emperor” was allowed to dance from his own sixteen to well into the opposing half without contact with the enemy, was allowed to play an outside instep pass with recognition value and then trotted comfortably back into his Libero position are now over.

Pressing, counterpressing and intensive defense across the entire playing field — the mileage of today's players has exploded. But not only the number of kilometers reeled off, but also the so-called “Hard Runs” (i.e. the explosive sprints) have increased enormously.

More mileage, significantly more dynamism and significantly harder combat performance — all of this is pure stress for our joints.

Here is a small overview table of movement patterns that you primarily perform during games or training sessions.

If there is also poor space, injuries can occur.

WE BRING KNOWLEDGE FROM PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TO AMATEUR SOCCER

Should professional soccer playershurt inside, they usually have a network consisting of the best rehabilitation specialistwithin this planet.

surgeonin, physiotherapistin, rehab, performance trainer— everything goes hand in hand; everything is accessible for several hours a day.

While professional players can therefore rely on perfect support when fighting injuries, amateurs often have to help themselves.

You have to ask for even a fraction of the professional support.

That is why we have our COMEBACK TRAINING, i.e. that training after an injury to PREVENTION TRAININGexpanded. Training that specifically and sustainably protects against injuries so that the worst doesn't even happen in the first place.

B42 PREVENTION TRAINING - IDEAL DURING THE SEASON

The “PREVENTION TRAINING” program is spread over a period of 6 weeks, with each week divided into six individual training days.

The new program is aimed in particular at protecting soccer players from injuries. All exercises and intensity are designed so that PREVENTION TRAINING allows you ideally accompanied by the season, during which you will of course not be able to complete three to four “All Out” sessions in addition to the game and team training.

With mobility units, neuro-centered drills, core and strength workouts, it is specifically tailored to the needs of soccer players:

Affected and surrounding areas of the body are consistently becoming more mobile, controlled and trained.

Each week always starts with a session to improve your control in problem areas of the body. This is followed by a core workout. The third and sixth unit of the week is either a specific prevention workout for better control or a mobility unit.

The prevention program is also ideal in combination with other programs such as the PACEMAKER or the SPEED ZONE.

However, since much does not always help much, there are the following instructions for combining individual programs:

- Make sure you have enough regeneration

- Stretch the respective programs a bit longer, i.e. complete the 6-week program in eight or ten weeks.

-Lower the difficulty level if necessary
